Argyle Pastoral operates a large-scale farming enterprise on the fertile South-West slopes of New South Wales, with a historic Angus stud and commercial breeding and fattening herd. The cattle run on the Argyle Pastoral property are from one of the oldest genetic lines of Angus in Australia from the early 1900’s. The high standard approach that the Graham family have taken to producing cattle and sheep has resulted in numerous awards. Argyle Prestige Meats is a vertically integrated business, raising Black Angus cattle on our farms, processing in our own factories and exporting from our own accredited facilities. This allows us to trace every product from paddock to plate.
Only the best beef is hand-selected for our Online Store. Cuts must reach a marble score of 1-2 for Grass Fed and 2-3 for Grain Fed and are wet-aged for up to 30 days to ensure optimal tenderness. We offer the choice of;
The Argyle Smokehouse & Butchery is located inside The Cannery Rosebery, opening in just May 2019. We are open and smoking seven days a week, serving delicious meals from our very own Chef Ryan. At night, we offer an exclusive private dining experience for up to 14 guests. We custom dry-age primals in our smokehouse to your liking and showcase in a divine five-course meal once perfected. We host weekly Wellington Wednesday’s, Steak Frites on Fridays and Steak Night Saturdays, and we serve breakfast on weekends. We run regular sausage-making classes and random pop-up dinner events.
